Thursday door….

I took this photo of an old Greek door on the island of Seriphos, part of the island group called the Cyclades. We moored our yacht Fandancer in the harbour and caught the local bus up the hill to the chora (hill village).   The whitewashed buildings and narrow streets were so beautiful, you couldn’t help but take lots of photos.   Each of the different groups of Greek Islands have their own characteristics, but the ancient doors and windows always seem the same…..

  1. Intriguing! On holiday in Cordoba in 2014, I could never resist peeking through doorways into the inner courtyards of houses, often paved and tiled, and filled with potted plants. I wonder what’s on the other side of this door…
