Colour your World: Timberwolf

Colour your World

“Timberwolf” was introduced by Crayola in 1993. There is a professional basketball team called the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Having no photos of Timberwolves to show you, I decided that the colour of old wood was quite a close match, and I was surprised that I did find some photos with this colour in them.

Garden gate

I love finding old doors and gates to photograph.  It’s amazing how many shades of grey you can find in one old door.

Some more old wood of a similar Timberwolf colour on the doors above.

Grey driftwood forming an arch on a beach

Different wood this time – it looks more pink as it was in direct sunlight, but it is in fact, grey.   I took this shot on a beach in the Bahamas….. (Just showing off!)

Timberwolf grey steps and columns

Not wood this time, but steps which appear to be Timberwolf grey.   I took this photo in West Desn gardens.    Last time I visited it was full summer, and the pergola and columns were completed covered by the green foliage of wisteria.  I hadn’t realised how grey it was without the plants.
