So come on, come on, get it on
Don’t know what you’re waiting for
Your time is coming don’t be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
– this was the first thing I thought of, when I read the prompt. – do you know where those lyrics come from? Answers at the end of this post!
Has something bright or reflective caught your eye in the moment? The subject of this week’s photo challenge is ‘shine’.
I had trouble finding shiny objects in my photo collection. I haven’t won a huge glittery trophy and I don’t own any shiny jewellery. So I have a random collection of objects that are shiny, plus some shiny sunshine photos….
Here’s a shiny glass paperweight I found in a gift shop….
Here’s a lovely photo of some sunshine reflecting on the sea. With a yacht.
The next photo was taken in a sculpture park, and you can see the sun shining on the wonderful dragonflies.
Now we have lots of shine on the water – with a sunken boat!
Back to the sculpture park again – this time you can see the shine on the metal objects that are suspended over the lake….
Now, we are off to Salisbury. There is a fabulous sculpture in the grounds of the cathedral that had a lovely shine to it.
….and a final two photos where the sun is shining…..
Oops I nearly forgot – the lyrics at the beginning of this post are from the track called ‘Shine’ by my favourite boy band – Take That. How many of you knew that?
