Where do you like to vacation?
As we live on a boat for six months of the year and float around the Greek Islands, that is regarded by some people as a very extended holiday. In some ways, it is like a holiday, being in a lovely location, continual sunshine, doing as we please. But if you go on a proper holiday, you don’t have to carry heavy pots of water to fill up the water tanks every few days, or wrestle with the water hose, you don’t break your nails and get your hands filthy hauling ropes and doing anchoring work, you don’t have to find a harbour where fuel can be delivered to the boat, you don’t have to search for a laundrette to wash towels or bedding, or wash your knickers in a bucket….

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am so grateful to my lovely husband for all the work he is doing on my house. He has done electrical work, bricklaying, painting, plumbing, decorating, and so much more. The house is on the market now, and next week I’m looking forward to lots of potential buyers arriving to view the house and make an offer!
