A bittersweet story …..

Today’s Crayola challenge colour is Bittersweet.  The name of this colour refers to the berries of a climbing plant –

woody nightshade. a climbing or trailing plant, Solanum dulcamara, of the nightshade family, having small, violet, star-shaped flowers with a protruding yellow center and scarlet berries.

Also called climbing bittersweet. any climbing plant of the genus Celastrus, bearing orange capsules opening to expose red-coated seeds.”

So I’m looking for photos which represent this colour…. this is what I came up with.

The canopy of a butcher’s shop….

A door with a Christmas wreath

Processed with Snapseed.

Some berries, but not a bittersweet plant

A moped I found in Corfu….

Come back tomorrow for some more Crayola colours!
