Thursday Doors

This old door was part of an original water pumping station, built in 1825.

Archaeologists in 1975 while excavating the area in the Old Town Of Leigh on Sea, Essex, discovered the source of old water system, which was supplied with water by conduit from Lady Olivia Sparrow’s well in Rectory Grove.  T)his old door was part of the original building, built in 1825.
