Country walk from East Meon, Hampshire

Following on from our previous country walks that I wrote about here   here  and here, this week we ventured out again and completed a circular walk of about five miles, starting from the Hampshire village of East Meon.

This walk also makes up my entry for Cee’s Which Way Challenge.   Let’s put on our walking boots, and start!

Our walk started not far from All Saints’ Church  the oldest building in the village.

The River Meon flows through the village.

The walk took us across fields, through woods, and up hills!

We crossed several stiles on our walk.

The path went uphill – it was very steep!

Another stile…….

There were lots of lovely views across the Hampshire countryside……

We found some very early snowdrops …..

We thought the walk was going to be about 3.6 miles, but my Mapmywalk app on my phone said we had walked five miles!

Almost back where we started……

We sampled the cider in the village pub st the end of our walk.

I hope you enjoyed our walk in the Hampshire countryside!
